User retention doesn’t get enough attention

There are three early problems in building a tech product:Product Dev — Building the product you envisioned (finding devs, raising money, launching). ¶ Marketing — Getting a stream of attention (signups), from the right target users. ¶ User Retention — Keeping your hard-fought signups. ¶ Most startup advice focuses on #1 and #2. ¶ There’s not a lot of focus on #3.
